Saw this recent talk (https://t.co/ZpZyqAtBal) on the New AI PM via @clairevo, some notes:
– Demand is not proportionate to production in an AI world – There are more things people can build but there are not more things that people will pay for – We don’t have anywhere to land
Saw this recent talk (youtube.com/watch?v=4CAFK-…) on the New AI PM via @clairevo, some notes:
– Demand is not proportionate to production in an AI world
– There are more things people can build but there are not more things that people will pay for
– We don’t have anywhere to land our capacity
– Code is abundant, the market is not
– PM decision making is not about defending engineering capacity anymore
– Will people pay to solve this problem (commercial value) is the key Q
– Can you drive behavior change to drive adoption for the product is another key litmus Q
– AI sucks at manifesting great ideas (I 100% agree)
– Rizz is the only moat (ha!)
My meta-takeaway: When building becomes abundant, knowing what to build (and what people will pay for) becomes key.
