The OODA Loop for Networking Rooms

Observe. Orient. Decide. Act.

A fighter-pilot framework on a networking note card, because rooms are dogfights.

Observe: first ten minutes, no approaches.

Who knows who. Where the host orbits. Which circle laughs loudest.

Orient: stand where the traffic already flows.

Near the bar line, the food, the door.

Never trapped in a corner conversation you cannot leave.

Decide: pick three people, not thirty.

Know the one question you want each to answer.

Act: cold open, early, while everyone is fresh.

Then loop it. The room changes every twenty minutes.

The person who keeps re-reading the room wins it.
