Super Bowl LVIII came to Las Vegas in February 2024, and Larry Chiang was right in the middle of it.
Base camp for the weekend was the Cosmopolitan on the Strip, the kind of place where the lobby is its own event and the whole city funnels through for the big game. Between the parties and the crowds, Larry did what Larry always does: he worked the room. And the room that weekend happened to include Tom Brady and Dr. Joe Dispenza.
Brady needs no introduction. Dispenza is the other name in the story: the author of Becoming Supernatural , the book on meditation, intention, and rewiring your internal state that a lot of high performers quietly swear by. Super Bowl weekend, mindset guru, seven-time champion, same building. Only in Vegas.
That is the part that ties this back to Austin. The book Larry carried out of Vegas is the same one he is hosting a book club around this summer, poolside at Hotel Ella. Super Bowl weekend was where the reading list got personal.
