Never Lie about where you are currently at.

Because lying prevents others from helping you get to where you want to go.

Theres something powerful about $0.

It’s like a black hole that forces you to change and break the habit of being yourself to come back better.

But if you lie about your situation. The people who can really really help you… can’t.

I wasn’t open full about my current situation with my mentor Larry Chiang until recently.

So I was confused, overwhelmed and unsure of what to do.

After opening up about my situation, we demoted myself to CTO VP of marketing.

So that way, I could see clearly and not be overwhelmed by the idea of having to wear all of the hats in the business myself.

Now I simply get to focus on distribution and doing the things that don’t scale.
